Kanken backpacks, their history

Kånken is a classic backpack made of durable Vinylon F fabric, which is resistant to dirt and moisture. It has a large opening compartment with a zipper, two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front. The set also includes a seat pad made of PE foam, which is stored in the inner back pocket and prevents the contents of the backpack from hitting your back.

The backpack also has a simple carrying system with top handles and adjustable shoulder straps, and has a reflective logo on the front and an address label inside the main compartment. Kånken was originally created in 1978 to help prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren and is now one of Fjallraven's most beloved products, used for traveling to and from school or work, trekking and traveling.
